shiny new blog! // neutrals & comfort zones

Hello! Welcome to my new blog! I’ve had a personal blog for awhile where I shared some of my outfit photos but I wanted to create something that wasn’t a mess of everything I liked and instead focus mainly on fashion. You can read more about why I created this blog on the ABOUT section! Whether you are an old friend who follows my personal blog or a new follower, I am stoked to share a slice of my life with you!

Can I say that I am really obsessed with my Sailor Moon choker (anything Sailor Moon really!)?? It won’t be the last time you’ll see it, that’s for sure. I love adding a tiny pop of color to my neutral outfits so the pop of pink of the choker and watch makes me so happy!

I have been doing a lot of things that are out of my comfort zone this year, fashion wise and in general. I was never really comfortable wearing anything sleeveless but here I am totally feeling this sleeveless ribbed crop top from Forever 21. This year I also signed up for a couple of obstacle course races, which is also wayyy out of my comfort zone and something I thought I would have never done in 1000 years (the cuts and bruises that are visible in some of the photos are from training for it). Be proud of yourself for getting out of your comfort zone–whether you are diving headfirst into it at full speed or taking small steps. You wore shorts for the first time in public? I’m proud of you. Ran your first marathon? You rock. Sang karaoke in a bar full of people for the first time? Yessss. So I hate to be cliche and end this with a quote BUT I WILL ANYWAY: Growth begins at the end of your comfort zone. And man, I’m starting to believe it.
